    This is great! I never actually took time to look into what all lust actually consisted of and dealt with. As you said, we look at it like it only pertains to fornication and adultery. Thanks for breaking that down. I definitley agree that lust needs to be dealt with before you get married, or even if you choose not to be married, it still needs to be dealt with. I don't think it is anything wrong with wanting your mate to please you in numerous and various types of ways when it comes to sex and anything else. The problem comes in when that is all we care about, our desires. Then everything that the spouse is not doing is magnified because we are no longer paying attention to them, we are only concerned with what we want. But as you said, if we operate out of love, and pay attention to what the spouse needs and they are paying attention to what I need, then we have a good chance of being satisifed. Great topic!

      i like what u said!! and i can agree.. i am married and have been for a short period of time.. but i do LUST after my husband alot and i feel that i should keep him happy behind closed doors. i try to see what he likes,even if it is watching movies, trying out new things.. there is nothing in the bible that explains what two married people should do, or how far to go when it is not consider "christian like". i think to many so called "saints" put to much into what GOD is saying.. and no we are not going to do everything correct. but GOD already knew this, but to lust after someone else that is married, now that is taking it to a different level. but i feel that if this is your mate there is NO LIMIT.. just make sure that you and your mate are trying to make each other happy.. i just feel that if more GODLY WOMEN would start to open there minds more when it comes down to there husband maybe there wouldnt be alot of breaks up in the home..

    The subject is tremendous. The truth is this, there is nothing wrong for having lust. The point of the matter is what is the object of your lust. You will have lust as long as you have a body. Lust is natural. Lust alone is not sinful. Ungodly lust is sinful. The scriptures declares that the flesh lust against the spirit and spirit against the flesh. Excessive desire after a "what". The answer to the "what" determines whether it is sinful. Why can't we lust after the Lord and His presence. How is that sinful? We are to lust after him. The lover in Solomon which symbolizes going after His presence, demonstrates lusting after Him. We are to lust after Him and not after anything or anyone. Ungodly lust, which is excessive desiring, will soon become idolatry. Idolatry is sinful

    Walking in the Spirit
    {GALATIANS 5:16-26 NKJV}
    16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
    19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery,[c] fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,[d] drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
    22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
